Playhouse Theatre

The West End Theater in London opened in 1882 with 786 seats on three levels. Located in the municipality of City of Westminster.

From 1951 used by the BBC until 1976, in 1986 the closed theater served as the scenery for the music video. In 1988, the building was renovated. To this day, it functions as a theater.

In February 1986, Queen filmed the music video A Kind of Magic in the theater. The director was Russell Mulcahy, who was also the creator of the film Highlander.

In 2019, the musical Fiddler on the Roof was performed, , where one of the main roles was played by Anita Dobson, wife of Brian May.
